Jeremie Haiti Project
1589 W. Maple Rd.
Birmingham, MI 48009
With participation from the United Methodist churches of several states, the Jeremie Haiti Project has become a national organization developed to coordinate the financial, physical, and spiritual efforts of United Methodist Volunteers in Mission teams working in the Jeremie and Leon Circuits of the Methodist Church of Haiti.
By working together, the involved churches have the chance to do more for the people of Jeremie and the surrounding areas than by previously working alone. They support each other's Mission Teams within these circuits as they develop relationships, establish partnerships, and assist with priority projects.
The Jeremie Haiti Project works directly with the Superintendent of the Jeremie and Leon Circuits to establish priority projects, develop Memorandums of Understandings, and monitor and account for funds and services.
Mission Teams associated with the Jeremie Haiti Project operate under the guidelines of the Volunteer in Missions and in partnership with the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) and the Methodist Church of Haiti.
