Mobile Medical and Dental
Mobile Medical and Dental teams provide care to the truly underserved in Haiti. We bring medical services directly to villagers in areas where medical care is inaccessible. Doctors, dentists, and nurses provide care to typically 200 patients a day in rural areas with the help of our Haitian translators, including immediate treatments, pharmaceuticals, dental extractions, and education. We also hire Haitian doctors, dentists and nurses which helps us provide care There is plenty for anyone to do, even non-medical team members---assisting in the pharmacy, helping with automatic blood pressures and assisting with reading glasses to name a few.
Mobile medical clinics cost approximately $1000 to care for an entire village, which includes purchase of medicines, paying Haitian doctors, dentists, nurses, and sending critical patients to the nearest hospital. You can also help by donating vitamins (all varieties for adults, children and infants), antacids, and OTC pain medicine such as Tylenol and ibuprofen.
