$500 Grants for Clean Water Funds
The Jeremie Haiti Project has grant monies available for teams going into the Jeremie area who would like to provide water filters and training to settlements around Jeremie.
The grants are for clean water projects that meet the requirements below. These have been established to maintain an efficient and consistent program. Serge Severe, JHP’s project manager must supervise each training since he has the necessary knowledge, contacts and experience to maximize our Clean Water efforts. The training takes place over three days. Thirty women per day can be trained to use the Water Filter/bucket. They then share clean water with 3 neighboring families to multiply the number of women and children who will have access to clean drinking water. Serge knows the geographical areas of greatest need so we count on his leadership. Serge’s community contacts are a necessary component in getting the word out in advance of each training so we need at least 3 months advance notice.
